A lavender latte-loving, old school music-playin’ professional makeup artist based in Jacksonville, Florida. Kiara Shannelle is a special needs mom, and self described as being either a history teacher, an anime illustrator, or the headmaster of House Ravenclaw in a past life. ;)

Kiara specializes in bridal makeup, commercial makeup, editorial makeup, special event makeup, and camera-ready beauty services throughout Northeast Florida and beyond.

She is proudly a visual arts alumna of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts (Go Puffins!) where her love for artistry and makeup first began. In 2011, she continued her education in the beauty industry at Florida Career College, majoring in Cosmetology.

For her, makeup is more than products, colors, and formulas. She believes every client’s features are unique and worth celebrating. Her approach is centered on enhancing natural beauty rather than covering it up, creating looks that feel polished, intentional, and authentically personal. Whether working with a client needing consistent makeup artistry for events, a bride looking for timeless wedding makeup, a professional needing makeup for branding photos, or a production team searching for a commercial makeup artist in Jacksonville, she brings creativity, care, and attention to detail to every client experience.

Throughout her career, she has been blessed to have her work featured in campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, Journeys, CDC, Ford Motor Company, Paul Mitchell, and JEA. She has also had the opportunity to work with major companies and organizations for events including Prosper Forum, the Jacksonville Jaguars, Matrix, AIIR Professional, and R+Co.

Her work has been featured on television shows such as Project Runway and published in major magazines and websites including Vogue Italia, Jet Magazine, Brides.com, and North & Central Florida Bride.

“Since starting my business in 2017, it has been a dream to serve countless clients for their special events, brides on their wedding days, spending time on commercial sets, and working backstage for runway and corporate shows. I love creating curated looks for everything from natural glam and soft bridal makeup to bold editorial looks and professional makeup for photoshoots, events, and productions.
